The “special payment order payment” is an independent ATM service available to users 24 hours a day and 365 days a year that which enables them to pay by special payment orders and immediately receive a slip confirming that their payment has been made! As for banks, this service allows them to streamline their operations, improve their cost efficiency and expand the range of services they provide to their clients!
How can one use the special payment order service?
When using this service, clients pay by special payment orders without an operator being needed and immediately receive a slip confirming their payment has been made according to the payment order.
The amounts paid by such a payment order are debited directly to the transaction account of the card holder, while the related processing fee is debited to the user’s account on the next day.

The number of transactions involving payment by special payment orders on ATMs is growing. At the beginning, there were only a few thousand per month, whereas today they exceed 74,000!
Increasing special payment order transactions at ATMs
Years ago, Bankart successfully introduced a service supporting special payment order payments at Diebold ATMs in co-operation with NKBM and the Keas company. Afterwards, a solution was also developed for NCR ATMs in co-operation with Abanka Vipa and the Printec company and for Wincor Nixdorf ATMs in co-operation with Gorenjsak banka and the Pexim Cardinfo.
Banks which provide the special payment order payment
In addition to NKBM and Abanka, this service is now also being provided by NLB, Banka Celje, Raiffeisen bank and Gorenjska banka. It is the business policy of each individual bank, the card issuer which supports the service of paying by special payment orders at ATMs, that determines at which ATMs its clients can perform the service in question. Clients with accounts opened at several banks can pay by special payment orders at the ATMs of their home bank as well as other banks providing this service, while others can only pay using these orders at ATMs owned by their bank.
