At the assembly, shareholders, among other things, were familiarized with the Bankart Annual Report for 2006, approved the business development and financial plan for 2007, appointed a chartered auditor of the company financial statements for 2007, and released the Supervisory Board chairman and members from their office.

At the Bankart assembly Zoran Nemec was released from the office of assembly chairman and from membership of the Supervisory Board, due to the incompatibility of these functions with the function of Bankart Deputy Managing Director, which he took over on 16.5.2007. Vlasta Brečko, executive director of the NKBM Board of Directors for the commercial sector and electronic banking monitoring was elected assembly chairperson and new member of the Bankart Supervisory Board.

The Bankart Annual Report for 2006 shows that the company's business operations have been successful, confirmed by:
• successfully completed national project of transition to the euro, which marked all business areas at Bankart 
• good business results (net profit for 2006 = + 275 million SIT)
• investments: 18.7% of total company revenues, which in numbers amounts to 737 million SIT
• in addition to the principal project of transition to the euro, the project of adjustment of card support to new accounting standards was successfully completed
• successful continuation of internal reorganization –establishment and start up of internal audit services and services for ensuring information security and safety, adoption of the strategy of establishing a project office and preparation of the project management methodology

The business development plan for 2007 focuses on:
• provision of support to reception of chip cards at the maximum possible number of ATMs
• setting up continuous operation of the authorization system, which to Bankart is the most important, crucial and, from the point of view of operations and continuous availability to its users and thus to the broad public, a very exposed system
• implementation of the selected technical solution for continuous functioning in the field of card operations 
• analysis of possibilities and usefulness of introducing new transactions at ATMs
in the field of information technology, projects have been oriented towards provision of technical conditions for improving the quality and reliability of company operations, including in extraordinary circumstances and/or during a substantial increase in the scope of transactions
