At its 62nd meeting, the Supervisory Board assessed the operations of Bankart as satisfactory, approved the annual action plan of the Internal Audit and supported the management’s efforts to continue with stable operations.
At its regular meeting held on 17 December 2008 the Supervisory Board of Bankart adopted the report on the implementation of projects stipulated by the business and development plan for 2008, the report of the financial operations of the company in the first eleven months of the current year with the assessment of financial operations of the company by the end of the year, and approved the annual action plan of the Internal Audit. It is expected that the company will increase the volume of its operations by the end of the year, compared to the previous year.
The company’s operations in the next year will be based on the consideration of requirements dictated by Slovenia’s accession to SEPA (Single Euro Payment Area), implementation of Mastercard and Visa mandates, optimisation and functional improvements of the existing solutions and studying the possibilities of the introduction of new services.
There are 1699 active ATMs in Slovenia today, at the end of 2007 there were 1643 ATMs, on which 67,434,662 transactions were performed in the first nine months of the current year. The largest number of transactions were performed in May, namely 7,945,906.
