Bankart solves the issue of establishing and maintaining a balance between the continuity and innovativeness of the company through a combination of a basic, classical and strict organizational structure and a creative project system. Project organizational units involve all sectors and most employees are included in them, so that they can be thought of as a parallel structure. The basic structure corresponds to the production aspect of Bankart operations, while the creative project system is suitable for the innovative and creative sector of operations.
Organizational structure
Bankart is headed by the company’s managing director, Aleksander Kurtevski. On the organizational side the company consists of four sectors:
- Technology Division, headed by Tomaž Borštner,
- Finance and Accounting General Division, headed by Maja Usnik,
- Information Technology Division, headed by Gregor Pirc
- Business Operations Division.
Individual divisions consist of various departments, as shown in the attached organization chart of the company (.pdf).
Project system
Development in Bankart is managed by the company management. Project management methodology has been adopted which imposes guidelines for organized project implementation, with previously defined and clear criteia. The project management methodology at Bankart provides the basis for achieving project goals within specific terms, with the planned resources and funds and at the projected quality level.

The Internal Audit (IA)
IA of the Bankart d.o.o. company was established in 2004 as an autonomous, independent and advisory function, and employs a systematic and professional approach to the assessment of risk management, control system and management of operations.
The aim of the IA is to increase the efficiency of the business risk management and to contribute to the attainment of the company's business goals.
The main task of the IA is to provide to the management and supervisory boards of the company an objectiv and impartial assurance with regard to the risk management efficiency as well as submit an estimate of the adequacy of the management of the key risks and the efficiencs of the internal control system.
The IA operates in compliance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and adheres to the principles of independence, professionalism, impartiality and ethical principles as the basic principles of the practice of internal audit.
Risk Management Department (RMD)
The RMD implements activities which encompass management of risks, business continuity, the Central Documentation System and the Project Office.
The core responsibility of the RMD is to ensure a comprehensive management of the process of risk and business continuity as well as identify risks and introduce efficient mechanisms and controls to reduce them and in this way contribute to the achievement of the Company's business goals. The RMD administates the Central Documentation System and manages the development and operations of the Project Office.
Information Protection Department (IPD)
The mission of the IPD is to protect information of the Company. Its basic task is to ensure the systematic development of the function of managing and ensuring information protection as well as design of a comprehensive information protection system. The latter enables the Company's management to systematically deal with adverse events and adopt measures as well as monitor the implementation of the measures and its effect on the Company's operations.
