Who founded Bankart and when

In 1997 the majority of Slovenian banks decided to found a company for payment instruments processing. The founding assembly of Bankart was held on 12 December 1997, and its registration was completed on 5 February 1998. Bankart started regular business operations on 1 April 1998.

Bankart was founded in order to reduce operational and development costs and to ensure uniformity in the field of self-service and card operations.

The number of employees has doubled since the company’s foundation, which proves the correct orientation of the company’s business operations and the high quality work of the employees. Bankart operates with a strong will to fulfil the company vision.
